I'd rather spend the few extra bones and get a set of V&H Duals. They have full heatshields, unlike the patch work mess of heatshields that you get with those conversion kits. You can get a set for under 300 bucks.
I got mine off of eBay from Eastern Performance Cycles for $293 shipped. You can get them directly from EPC. It looks like they have gone up about 20 bucks.

I absolutely agree. The way the stock exhaust had the gap in the heat sheild at the cam chest really irritated me. I thought about going the Full Sac route which seems like a money saver. But when you add that to the cost of the heat shield to fill the missing gap at the cam chest you come out ahead to go with the V&H Dresser Duals.
