Default 2008 non ABS 2014 Enforcer Wheel Question

Hello Folks,

I am new to the forum and and I have been looking around trying to find a question to a issue I am having. I have a 2008 Ultra non ABS and I have purchased an enforcer wheel that came off a 2014. I have read all types of do's and dont's so I am hoping you guys can help clear this up for me. I have removed the ABS bearings from the wheel and it is at the powder coaters now. What do I need to make the install as smooth as possible. I have the rotors, wheels, and non abs bearings, just looking for a little guidance before starting.

Thanks in advance!

All you need to do is put in your Non ABS bearings and mount it up. The wheel has a DOT stamp on it. That goes to the primary side of the bike. Primary side bearing goes in first and is seated all the way in. Put sleeve in then install the other bearing. You'll use the same spacers that came off your other wheel.

Having just done this on my 2008 I don't believe you want to just use the spacers from your other wheel. Which I interpret to mean the original wheel you are removing.

That wheel will have two spacers. One is the long sleeve and the other is a ring type spacer. The enforcer was designed to not need that ring spacer.

The sleeve spacer on the new wheel is the same as the sleeve spacer on the old wheel. So you should just be able to use the same spacer from the new wheel. Ultimately you just need to get the non abs bearings put on.

I agree with everything else.

My disclaimer: I'm not an expert. This how I did it based on the information I found on this site and online microfiche. I would encourage you to look at the microfiche for both your model year and the model year the wheel is from.

Nevermind my reply. He's referring to the outside spacers. I was thinking he was referring to the inner spacers.

The Center spacer sleeve ("inner spacer") is the same also
