Compared to the 13" hand adjustable shocks I was given that i have on now it shouldn't be too much of a change. The only is I'll have to put a short 2 into 1 on to clear them. And least they wont look as drastic as they did on my dyna. Between them and the 2" over front end the bike sat like a dirt bike.

Just curious, why wouldn't a normal 2-1 clear them?

The axle shaft will would be awful close to hitting the muffler on a standard exhaust with a 14" shock.

Did any of you that used the RWD shocks make any changes to the front forks?

It really does not matter what shock you use on rear to upgrade, the front is just as bad, it will only make it worse.

And many of us over the years have upgraded our rear shocks and discovered that! It's a well trodden path. Fortunately, and at long last, the suspension industry is starting to give us decent alternatives to the mediocre stock stuff and aftermarket products of old. One day H-D will recognise that and fit the good stuff themselves! The CVO bikes in particular are candidates for H-D to showcase the very best suspension the industry can provide us. I have long held the view that if we upgraded the suspension first, our bikes would ride better and faster without expensive engine upgrades!

Have to somewhat disagree there, while the front is not great either it certainly didn't make it worse when I put my new rears on. It rides quite well now even with the stock fronts.
