I'm looking to replace the stock forks with some chrome ones (stock ones look like **** - I assume the previous owner didn't garage the bike, or was trying to ride through acid or something!)
My bike is a 2016 RG Special.
There doesn't seem to be a ton of options out there as far as brands. There's the HD chrome kit (which is the cheapest option overall - oddly enough). PM and Arlen Ness have some options, but they are pretty pricey just for the lowers alone.
Are there some other brands I haven't seen yet? I'm leaning towards the HD ones. I'll probably have to have the work done at a shop unfortunately due to time constraints (and just have the standard motorcycle lift).
Ive used Impress Plating for wheel exchanges before, they do fork sliders and other parts as well. They also sell some chromed parts outright for cheaper than youll find at HD.
I have seen CVO take-offs in may area relatively cheap. We have a guy here in DFW that buys take-offs from the local HD shops and sells them very reasonably priced on Craigslist.
