Default Road king engine fit Ultra Classic

Hello,
I have an 06 Ultra with a knock in engine..... and a clunky transmission. I have found a complete take out engine from a wrecked road king... Eng and trand are complete including primary, Starter, Intake etc. its an 05.
Will this bolt into my bike as a direct fit?

Thank you

I don’t know. But, a clunky transmission is not usually a transmission issue. It usually means the clutch is dragging. The proper labs such as HD Formula+ and a proper adjustment is usually all it needs. But, they all clunk somewhat going into gear. Oh yeah...or the wrong or low transmission lube.

im aware of tbe clutch drag. My bike has nearly 100k. The engine trans i found has 18k. Its a chance to get 18k drive train for under $1500.
My engine is going to need major work. Getting the low mileage trans and other parts is really just a bonus.
I just wantvto be sure the road king engine and my ultra engines are the same before spending the cash. $1500 is a lot of money in my world.

Thanks for the info

Both touring bikes both pretty much the same bike , engine , trans primary ect. 2007 was the change year TC96 and 6 speed. The 2005 could be or may not be carb.
