You bet! Photos of the blacked-out look don't translate well from the real thing, never thought I would go all blacked-out but they are impressive in person.
I know you said you didn't like the Daymaker on your Sportster but with the passing lights to fill it out it's completely different.
On my 03 (same lights as yours) I went from oe to the new clear oe passing lights, upgraded to a take off dual beam Street Glide headlight, then took it all off again and went with the Sunpie led kit off Amazon. Amazingly bright, haven't been flashed at since I adjusted them properly, and I've been told that I'm extremely easy to see, even in daylight.
Truck Lites here too, all three in front.
LED's rear and front turns, BAL for the tail, Biketronics plug and play EQ for the LED's.
World of difference.
Here's my 05 king with a Hoppe 5566 fairing, Truck Lite phaze 7 headlight, and led passing lights I got off eBay. I absolutely love them! I need to take pics of them at night or in my garage.
When I had my 04 RK I upgraded to the HD Daymaker Reflector (not projector) headlight and passing lamps. They were stupid bright and I got flashed all the time. I never found myself thinking they werent bright enough.
Thanks for all the input guys. I will keep you posted as soon as I order my new set and get them installed
The aim will probably be different when you replace them, so I would plan on an adjustment. The recommendation in the manual did not work for me, but it's a great start. With a little tweaking I found what works best for me, and does not irritate those I meet on the road (Well, no more than just being LED's, that is!). Just keep your adjustment tools with you for a ride or two, get out on some good country roads, and you can get them working in harmony. At night on country roads all alone, I like all three blazing lighting up the way ahead. That's how I saw a big fat old black sleeping dog laid out in the middle of my lane a couple of years ago. He slowly raised a big heavy head just as I was buzzing by Him, and almost got Him with my foot peg. He had to hear me coming - I debated if He might have been considering suicide?!?!
