Just make sure your non DOT approved lighting is properly aimed. I ride and also have light sensitivity. These aftermarket lights on bikes and cages are a safety hazard to oncoming traffic after dark. Not so much during daytime driving. LEDs stand out during daytime substantially. DOT needs to crack down on aftermarket non approved lighting on cages and bikes. . Hell they need to recall all the new high ride vehicles with improperly aimed headlight and get the aim off and out of the eyes of non SUV or truck drivers.

Thats the nice thing about the Sunpie lights. They all have a DOT stamp and number right on the lens
I currently have all Custom Dynamics in my street glide. I love them and will use their directionals on my road king but I don't care for the look of the true beam, or any projector style lighting on my road king. I am and have been looking at the truck lite for all 3 up front. Has anyone compared the truck lite to the CD stuff lighting wise? Also I thought there were som fit up issues with the truck lights with the stock trim rings. Is this the case or are they drop in replacements?
My TLP7 trifecta was an easy drop in, focus a little, and go. Love 'em.
I've had 'em about 5 years or so, no problem.
Thank you for the response. They look like a quality replacement for the OEM equipment. I am strongly leaning towards them. I know the CD lighting on my SG is way better than my RK. In the past I have gone with PIAA halogens but after running good LED's my opinions have changed.
There are some You Tube videos on the durability of the Truck Lights.
They are also used by our military.
In one of the videos, they drive a long screwdriver thru one, the thing still burns!
A young guy close to here has a pimped out jeep with all kinds of LED's all around it, and I noticed He has a pair of the TLP7's on the front of that jeep, same lights as my King's headlight. That thing puts out some serious light!
