I got a good deal on a 19" front wheel from a 2018 Streetglide. I know the different sizes in axles, that's why I am looking at this route. The lower legs, is there a difference it size of the Forks that slide in the lower legs and are the lower legs interchangeable throughout the years. BTW, I'm working on a 1999 Road king . I know I will probably have to get 2 newer calipers as well...

I have '08 sliders on my 1990 Glide, plus Brembo calipers, all located with a little patience as new or near new take-offs, for decent prices. I got a good SG wheel, looks as if it only had one tyre installed on it, plus an axle with spacers etc the same way. IIRC the 1" and 25mm axles all fit the same later 41mm sliders.

2014 and up use 49MM fork tubes. You could adapt that to your bike if you change out the triple trees. It is not a cheap project by any means.
