LRS is a good quality shield. Bought one in October when I bought my roadking. Bought another when my wife wanted a bit less wind. So I have an extra 16 inch light tint available . I am in Southern Ontario also.
Haveng a heck of a time deciding on brands. Looked into Freedom Shields, LRS and Klock Werks. LRS was supposed to contact me on my order and forgot, hence the price changed. John at Freedom Shields seems right on about his product but it has to be made first and by the time im done it will be more than $350 Canadian. And I know nothing about Klock Werks nor have I seen many of them. I have a perfectly good stock shield but sure wish there was someplace up here in Ontario that I could sit behind one of these first. There just isn't.
randy
I have a Klockwerks Flare 16 and really like it. Ive had it on for almost 3 years and it still looks good. It is more expensive than some of the other options, but I was unaware of them when I got it.
24 inch recurve on my 2018 RK from clearview shields. Takes all the buffering away and makes long rides more comfortable. Down side? You have to get used to looking through the windshield instead of over it which means you have to keep it clean all the time.

Why so tall? I always look over mine. That's really why I bought a recurve.

If can't look over your shield in FL can run into big trouble with the humidity it can Fog up and not be able to see through it .. Best Option down this way is Nose height Max ..
