I have been happy with CORBIN for over ten years. From the short trips (100 mi. commute) to the long hauls (Oakland to Reno, Sturgis, Vegas, San Diego and Daytona) their seats have exceededmy expectation.
I've got the Sundowner and love it!! Girlfriend and I put 800 miles on last weekend. Very comfortable. Looks awesome too with the SG stitching and matching backrest pad. Less money than the Mustang seat as well. Only way to go IMO.
From: i live outside Omaha Ne on the Iowa side in the Loes hills, some great places to ride
RE: Street glide seat ??????????
i have the stock seat,
the sundowner from HD
and a comfort stitch.
the sundowner is most comfortable to me but it moves me closer to the fairing and i don't care for that
my wife likes the comfort stitch but this moves me closer yet to the air fairing, and my a$$ can only take this seat for about 50 miles.
when i retain enough funds i will be sending one seat at a time to
Allen at Mean City Cycles to have the memory foam installed
i think this will make them all my favorite seats
i picked up both the comfort stitch and sundowner used (looked like new to me) and will have less than the other aftermarket seats when Allen is done.
Hope this helps.
Which Sundowner seat are you running, the smooth or the stitched seat,at first I thought it was the stitching
in the stock seat that was the problem.I am not sure, it may be just to firm. The memory foam seat might be the ticket,Some pics of a Street glide with a worked MCC seat would help. Also some pics with a Sundowner.
I currently have a Fastback from C&C seats http://www.ccseats.com/I am looking at a Big Seat from DannyGrey http://www.dannygray.com/StandardSeats.asp for something different and a solo look. I was never happy with any stock HD seat (for $400.00 they'll sell you a little more comfort).
