After talking with a fellow rider on FB, I decided to get the WHIM for my bike. After making sure the latest software was installed for the Boom GTS, the WHIM, and my Packtalk Bold, I was able to successfully pair my headset to the WHIM system. Then when I plugged in my phone, Apple CarPlay was available. I have not been able to test the bike-to-bike features but it is my understanding that the Mesh feature is disabled when the headset is paired to the WHIM system.
