Default Gauges

Anyone every swap out their gauges for the white faced streetglide ones ? I have a 15 tri-glide and it has the black faced gauges and they are really hard to see at night. Just wondering if i got a used set of gauges if the speedo would show correct mileage ?

I don't think you'll be able to use a 'used' speedo on that bike. the ecm locks to the speedo. change it out to another and you'll get a 'vin err' code. if you buy a new one, you order with the mileage programmed into already. then you'll get 31 miles before it gets locked.

OK thanks ! I do remember something along those lines now. I thought maybe the ECM would just show the mileage on the used speedo.

I've got a '18 Ultra. I cannot read the gauges during the day. Night time is ok. I swapped them out for the Koso digital gauges.

I have a 14 FLHTK and the stock orange-lit gauges were hard to read at night. Replaced them with the CVO gauges for a 14-15 model and they are much better.

Yes, I got them from the now defunct Boardtracker website. Sure you can get them from New Castle or Surdyke for around the same price.
