In today's world of cell phone drivers, I don't care if my BAL2 pissed they off because it pulled their eyes off facefvch and back to the road. In your face bright was what I was looking for.

Reason: Auto complete too smart for its own good

FYI..... I didn't mention my opinion on the BAL-2 to criticize your choice. I think you posted while I was typing and I didn't even see your post.
I only mentioned my opinion on the BAL-2 because often, when the BAL-1 is mentioned in a post, there is usually a follow-up question asking about the difference and if the BAL-2 is worth the extra money. I was merely anticipating that question, and sharing my opinion on it, in my post...
All good man. That was my though process when I was shopping. Picking it up off a brother back in the parts sub on the cheap sealed it. Lots of modes I'll never use but the strobe is attention grabbing at 100 yards.
Anybody running discounts on Custom Dynamics or is it all MSRP?
I was looking for some deals on custom dynamics stuff last month and wasnt able to find anything. I ended up paying full price for the Custom Dynamics Probeam tail light.

I have bought some CD lighting previously from CD. No discounts, but they don't charge me sales tax (yet) and I can't remember if I had to pay any shipping or not on my previous purchase several years ago. But I was recently looking at spending more for some more CD stuff, to the tune of maybe $350 or so.
I moaned and bit*hed and raised some hell at a HD dealer about them giving my neighbor a 10% discount about 2 years ago for apparently no good reason (he had never bought a nickel's worth of nuthin from them before and was in there with me cause he needed about $20 worth of odds and ends). The parts guy and the GM told me now they only give a discount (10%) if you have a DD 214 to verify your service in the military. BINGO! I do NOT claim to be a veteran. But...., in 1967 I was on active duty in the US Army for 17 friggin' days! Long story short--I joined, was sworn in, sent to Ft. Campbell and after 3 days my elbow hurt, they X-rayed it and a metal screw that had been put in when I fractured the elbow had broken so they were giving me an Honorable Discharge for medical reasons. Took 2 weeks to clear post so that's why I was on "active duty" for a total of 17 days. The parts guy looked over my DD 214 and entered me in their computer for a 10% discount. But, the dealer charges me 6% sales tax, plus it's a 30 minute drive there and 30 back home. So, why in the heck did I go through all this? Simple reason, really. I had $600+ in HD Visa cards, most from cashing in points on my HD Visa card and the ONLY place I can spend the cards is at a HD dealer.

I wouldn't be carrying my DD214 around, let alone showing it to some clown behind the parts counter

I have no reason to carry my DD 214 around, anywhere. As a matter of fact it took me a while to even find it, and remember, it was typed up over 50 years ago and, over time, you know it seems the typewriter ink seems to spread out and the typed words get kinda fuzzy, or blurry. I made a copy here at home and it was even a little less readable than the original document and before I went back to the dealer with the copy I obliterated my SSN shown at the top of the form. So, he looks at the form, and if you try really hard you can make out words that seem to be "Honorable Discharge" and my name, but the dates and other typed in info was just about unreadable. Anyway, he looked over the copy I brought in, gave it back to me and told me he had entered info in their computer and I should now always get a 10% discount on purchases.
Harley's---Electra Glo LED Saddlebag / run brake & stop, along with Custom Dynamics LED turn single inserts.
That should be enough lights to let people behind you know you have applied your brakes and are about to stop.
Amazon is your friend for anything from Custom Dynamics, and Surdyke or Boardtracker for a 20% off dealer,
for anything Harley, ( Part # 67800355 --- LED tail light )

I just now checked Amazon after reading your post. Their price on two CD items I just bought are the exact same price as the CD price--the Probeam FillerZ saddlebag support run/brake/turn lights are $199.95 and the CD Probeam replacement tail light is $159.95. No savings from Amazon on those items
