I changed mine out to Revo Legends. I did the 13" heavy duty. I think the heavy duty is more set for 2 up riding. Of you ride solo, I'd get standard duty. Overall, the shocks made a huge difference.
I put Legend Revo A 13 inch on the rear of my 2018 RKS. They seemed to soften the ride up some but I was underwhelmed by the improvement. Maybe my expectations were to high from hearing about the life changing experience that changing rear shocks is. If somebody slipped them on my bike in the middle of the night I may have never even known. I hated the Stock rear shocks at first but I set them up a few clicks for a two up ride and just never bothered to change them back and a funny thing happened. Either they broke in some or they broke me in because I just forgot about them. And that's really about the best thing you can say about shocks. The Legend seem to help the handling A LITTLE and let me take some turns just a bit quicker. But big bumps still send me off the seat.
As SWT points out there are zillions of threads around HDF on suspension, it must be one of the number one topics. Fortunately there are in recent times some new brands on the market, with shocks aimed directly at Harleys. Even better still there are a few specialists who are HDF sponsors and custom build for each of us, such as Motorcycle Metal.
I installed a set of 13” Pro actions on my ‘17 RGS last year. I ordered them through DK Customs saving a few bucks. The shocks however came directly from PA. DK gives yo a questionnaire to complete prior to purchase that asks about riding, style, 1 up vs 1 up riding, etc. They came perfectly set up for me. Install was easy and the ride has noticeably improved over the OEM air shocks.
