Default New American Elite

Just had a new American Elite MU85B16 rear tire installed on my Street Glide....total OTD price for tire, install, and balance, was $296. That was me riding my bike in and waiting. I think this was a great price, but was wondering what others have paid. BTW, this was from an "indy". The HD dealership in my area wanted over $350, and that was with a "30% off tire sale".

Yeah I know that's not for everyone but as long as I'm able I'll mount my own.

Just thinking, the OP should have asked the question first before buying the service. Done and over now.

I ordered mine from Revzilla and had a local Indy install them. Don’t remember how much though. I’m very happy with the tires. Check Dunlop before you buy, they often have rebates on them.

Yea...already sent in for a $20 rebate.......in my area NO ONE will install a tire unless you buy it from them. So buying online and taking the wheel in is not an option for me.

Are you sure it was an American Elite because that number crosses over to a stock OEM D402.

That's a pretty good deal. I had both tires replaced on my RK,cost $750 OTD. I have spoke wheels so that included tubes and rim strips.
