I’m looking for advice on an audio upgrade. I’ve got a ultra limited low 2017 that I want to upgrade to Boom audio stage 2. Ultimately I’d like to have 6 speakers. Fairing, lowers, and tour pack. My problem is 90% of the time I ride with the tour pack off. That would be 4 speakers still running. I’m told that would throw codes and wouldn’t work.
Anyone else done this or can point me in the correct direction?
thanks in advance.

I have no experience in this matter, but would the tour pack speaker really add that much considering you ride without it a lot? Why not focus your resources on the system itself plus the very best fairing speakers you can get.
i own a 2019 SGS but 99% of the time use speakers in earbuds to listen to the system. I’ve never really understood the blasting of the sound that so many systems achieve. Just my humble opinion,
True that. I got out of there only spending $1,200, so I consider myself lucky.
yeah I got out under a grand, then I quit, but I can feel a relapse coming and Im gonna need another amp fix soon. I can feel the itch.
Just one more amp wont hurt.......right?
