How tall of handlebars can I put on my 2011 Road King without adding jumpers to my existing wiring? I have some back issues and I'd like to go 4-6 inches taller than my stock handlebars. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I see you are looking for ape hangars. I personally prefer the beach bars. I just put the chubby wild 1 1.5 on my road king. Nice *** bars. They make apes as well. just was never my style. :-)
I want to go high enough so I'm definitely sitting up right. I've got disk issues in my back so I want to be about as upright as I am on my 93 Springer which has stock Buckhorn bar on it. The position is almost perfect for me, really takes the strain out of riding.

Reason: Forgot a couple of things
No way stock '11 Road King bars have 8" of rise. They did make them higher starting in '14.
^^This is correct. The pre-rushmores have the bars slammed to the tank and they are torture devices. I used 10.5 Klockworks on my 10 and you can use the stock wiring. I am 6-1 They are taller than my 17 street glide which are an 8" rise but they are not what I would call apes. 12's would be about where apes would start. Rise, pullback and style all make a difference in how they feel. Bars are the most confusing mods you can do and you don't always get It right the first time but bars on a road king are really easy.
On my 2011 Roadking, I went with 16" LA Choppers Twin Peaks. I am 6 feet tall, and these bars put my hands about at my shoulders. The wiring extensions are very easy, just need to take your time so the wires end up in the correct locations on the plugs. I have done a few rides since I installed them, and love the apes. I herniated 2 discs also (L4-L5 and L5-S1). The taller bars help a ton with back pain, etc.
I am happy to answer any questions, or help in any way.
