Just picked up mine today. It was parked in between a black RGS and a silver Street Glide. For some reason my eyes kept on coming back to the Wicked Red. I think the Wicked Red outlined with black parts just draws your eyes. I went to the dealer ship wanting the Vivid Black but the Wicked Red was just to wicked. I just couldn't stop looking at it. I wish they had the battleship grey in stock, I would like to have seen it in the mix. In all I am very happy in my choice. No buyer's remorse here.

I like!!!! The color is great but, I don't care for the denim paint jobs. I like the shiny paint finish. My first choice would have been a Twisted Cherry, but the '19 SGS does not come in that color. The Baracuda Silver is growing on me and I have received nothing but very nice complements from all who have looked at it.
If you are bothered by wind buffeting I can highly recommend a Freedom Recurve Shield. I did a clear 8", can still see over it comfortably and it works great. The stock shield allowed wind to hit me square in the face.
Now, after the sticker shock wears off, you will really need some $$$$$$ to put on all the accessories MoCo should have included standard.

Thanks for the shield suggestion. My wife said this will be my last bike for twenty years but I was able to talk her down to ten. LOL. I want to get a 2-1 exhaust and a tour pak. I'm already getting the screaming eagle tuner with auto-tune and the screaming eagle intake. Any suggestions regarding the exhaust, aftermarket tour pak, and aftermarket bag lids with speakers?

To the OP: Do it. I have the 107 and love it. I cant imagine you feeling any different with the 114.
FrankEV: I am shopping windshields now. How tall are you? Are you on stock seat? If not, how does new seat position you in comparison to stock?

The 2019 SGS is a great bike. However, that color??????? Just not feeling it at all. I guess not all colors appeal to all people; that's why HD makes so many different colors. Just my humble opinion. Good luck!
i agree. I wasn’t going to say it, but since you did, I agree that any other color besides that one would be much better. However, the photo of it out in the sun, does look better than I thought. Not for me to say anyway. Hey, if I had it to do over again I wouldn’t have got black, so who knows. That’s why they offer all the color choices. Something for everyone.

You can get the Rockford Forgate complete system with amp, speakers, https://rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/hd14-tkit/. + https://rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/tms69bl14/. pretty reasonably, and they can cut the speakers into your existing lids, so you dont need to buy lids. Use a reputable Rockford authorized shop, who can do the Harley flash for Rockford Fosgate. This system is way better than the Boom or Boom II, but not a top of the line system for bike shows etc... Really good upgrade without breaking the bank.
One word of caution: Only get rear speakers if you are doing it for a passenger to hear. You cannot hear them at all at speed. It doesnt matter if they are the worlds largest and most expensive speakers. Rear lid speakers are only effective in parking lots, or for a passenger.
Im no help on tour packs. I dont care for the look of them, but Ive heard the eBay knock offs work fine, but you would have to get them painted. Knock off or HD, they are expensive. I use various combinations of HD and Viking bags with the HD detachable rack, and detachable sissy bar. Holds just as much, but the stuff can easily come with me into the motel.
