Default Detactchable tour pack question

I want to put the detatchable tour pack brackets on my bike, but the ol lady is afraid of it. She thinks it will be loose fittng and move around . Has any one had this problem? Is there any vibration or movement when you ride? I had a detactchable passenger backrest on my Sporty and it was rock solid. I assume the same for the tour pack.

The HD detachable rig is safe, I have one of them E-Bay bags, and it rattles unless it's stuffed with chit...
Every time I take it off and ride around, it's like Im on a NEW bike...

ya after a few miles it rattles a bit.......like the rest of the bike, it's a harley but fully loaded with the chic on the back it stays put for wheelies so i wouldn't worry about it.

Mine has only been on for 500 miles or so. No problems as of yet! The wife seems to like it better than the back rest. Says it fits the contour of her back better.

If I grab mine and shake it there's a VERY small amount of play, but once she gets seated everything is fine. Why would she think it would be any looser than the seat and a standard backrest?

I also have the detachable backrest on my RG. Will the tourpack mount to the backrest posts or do I need to get different ones?
