Thanks!! Can I have that guys info for the dead center discount as well? After reading all the response, I'm stuck between Dragonfly and dead center. Dragonfly allow all HD accessories (including mirrors) to fit and dead center has a great locking device. !!!!
PM sent, that sure is a schweeet loookin scoot ya got there
Thanks Bigdaddy11311. I forgot about that post. Looks like Dead Center wins again. I like the one post saying just buy an Electraglide. I had my bike at a ride the other day and my friend has an Electraglide. When I took my fairing off in about 30 seconds he started drooling along with the 30 or other riders who came over very quickly. The chrome headlight housing really jumps out at you when you take the fairing off the Road King. For somestrange reason it also feels like another bike whenI take it off and ride. The way Ilook at it, I have about three different bikes now depending on my mood. That would cost about $60,000 and take up a whole lot of space in my garage. As I said before, if Harley made just one model with detachable everything, they would only need one touring model on the floor.
Ronjo...
yeah that WAS funny. I have a solo Mustang seat w/ pillion, passenger backrest, solo C&C Custom seat, tour pak on a detachable rack.I also bought a set of color matched vented lowers (got lucky on ebay for $400)I figure I can make about 30 different and distinct combinations in about 10 minutes each. Try that with an Ultra! Road King is the MOST versatile ride HD makes
I was also looking and ran across this place: http://www.thegaragefather.com/
I thought it was a pretty good looking fairing, but I don't know anything about it. Advertises to use standard windshield mounting hardware.
Keep in mind, this isn't an endorsement, just something I found looking around too.
: )

My only problem now is fighting the stealer.... they took it in for 5000 mile service and fried my stereo when they washed the bike. [:@]
I take my fairing off before any service but I NEVER let em wash my bike. Bet you won't any more either. Hope they make it right for you. Either way let us know what dealer so we can all know either they stand behind their mistakes or they do not.
Good Luck.

I'll definitely take the fairing off next time. It's my first time at this dealer and didn't know that they were going to wash the bike. I talked to them yesterday and so far they ARE going to take care of it. They're going to pay for the stereo and the install. We'll see how it goes. Appointment is for 7/25.
I never knew they washed my bike either. I bought a new custom hand stitched seat. took the bike in for routione service, got it back and sat on it. My azz was soaking wet by the time I got home. I was pizzed off!!! Called the dealer but I really had to contain myself because they told me they did not wash everybody's bike, just good customers. I asked them to please put a note in their computer NOT to wash my bike again. When the seat dried, it was fine and we all had a good laugh. I hope yours turns out like this as well...
That whole water thing is why I went with a marine grade stereo in mine. I know it has the cover, but water still gets on the face in a downpour (ask me how I know that![:@])
JimmyZ, I love that white sit up. I can picture my bike w/ the new fairing.. I'll be making my decision soon. I plan to buy it before the end ofthe month. Thx again for the info.
