That's something I'd like to know myself. I've been struggling to get my '07's mileage up to 50 mpg and finally got there, so I wonder how they managed this feat? I suspect it is a change in the EPA's method for calculating mileage.
looks like the cush drive the chain driven jap bikes have been running for decades... its a proven technology and pretty hard to screw up imho... if it make a difference then it'll be fine... but won't do anything to quiet off the tranny noise some have complained about...
