It ISN'T unplugged - hence my question - is there an o-ring that can go bad and need replacing.
I don't know these things Zerk, that's why I asked the question. I do most all the wrenching on my fleet of vehicles but I'm relatively new to the Harley Davidson world. I've learned over the more than six decades of living, it's better to ask if not 100% familiar with a process of repairing. You know, don't want to break something and make a bigger job out of it than it has to be.
So, I'm sorry Zerk, if you are annoyed that I dare get on here and simply state that I've got a concern about my bike and would appreciate some useful, helpful advice regarding diagnosing the issue and then fixing it.
Zerk, I do hope you have a nice day
Dale
All I am suggesting is unplug and plug it back in and see if makes a difference. Its free and easy to do. For fuc sake.
All jokes aside. I had this happen to me last week on the road. There is NO o ring on the disconnect. You have to replace the whole line. I replaced both lines, on goes to the throttle body and the other goes in the tank. Cost me a couple hundred dollars for parts and labor at the dealer because I was on the road.
I had to go to two different dealers because no one local to where I was had both
