We have the 2 up version on our 2015 FLHTK. Over 30,000 miles on the seat. I liked that it sat me a little further back. My wife, not so much. So I had to add the Kuryakyn tour pak relocation kit to move the tour pak back further. Other than that we've done a lot of miles with no problem.
I am looking for a seat that will relieve pressure on my tailbone/soft tissue. I've tried mustang and lepera but didn't find them comfortable. I started looking at Corbin and called today to get some info, but unfortunately the gal I spoke with didn't seem to know much about the seats. Can anyone speak to how Corbin's feel on one's tailbone area. Has anyone tried the Widowmaker? I'd be putting it on a 17 Street Glide. The dual tour and solo are also options.
I ordered and installed a Corbin Widow Maker on my 17 RGS. This seat is probably the most comfortable seat Ive ridden on. As far as your concern about tailbone support, when I sit on mine, my lower back and tailbone area are supported nicely. I also like how it pushes me off the tank unlike some other seats including OEM HD seats. Good luck brother, I hope you find the right seat. If ever in NH, look me up and you can try mine out.
I have tried many seats $$$$$$$$$$$ then called MEAN CITY CYCLES AND SPOKE TO LORI , they only do motorcycle seats , both my wife and I have issues and they custom made our seat , I would never buy another aftermarket seat !! When you have it made they will ask for height weight etc..... and will make it for you and not what someone else says is good . We are all different .
corbin solo tour on the last three bikes.,, i dont leave home without it...
i have been using a solo tour for 3 1/2 years great seat wouldnt change if you paid me , I also have a Ultimate its not as hard as the Corbin but still a good seat, this one is on our tri glide

I had a MCC seat before on a previous bike, and unfortunately I found it caused more pressure (I sunk in too much). I could have likely returned it for additional mods but I sold the bike shortly afterwards.

Did the Widowmaker move you further from the bars?
I called Kraus and they said it's only 11" wide. Do you notice how thin it is. I measured my street glide seat and it's like 3" wider.
you definitely notice it's thinner... which I actually like. It's kind of like sitting on (2) 2 x 4's, but not in a bad way.
It's not for everyone... it's definitely not a couch.
One thing i noticed, is I have to be more alert at stop lights... the bike will lean much easier, and these things get heavy fast beyond a certain point.
you also might want to see if your old seat has damaged the paint on your tank... and if that will bother you, you might not want to get the saddlemen/kraus. You can see the entire tank... both sides.
