2000 FLHTPI No Spark
Started getting a situation where the bike would start but then die after a few seconds. Then I got a crank, but no start condition.
Fuel pump would energize and stop when pressurized.
Then when I would try to start it, it would crank, but wouldn't start.
Getting fuel but no spark (plugs are wet, but not sparking when tested)
In a fit of wisdom I disconnected the Bank Angle Sensor....The bike started up and ran. Took it for a ride, then brought it home. Would start, but then would quit.
Thinking I had found the problem, I went out and bought a new B.A.S. and installed it. Would crank but not start.
Checked plugs. Fuel but no spark.
Thought...aha.....Crank Position Sensor....so bought one, installed and connected it up......crank, but no start.
The part that I find funny is that originally when I disconnected the B.A.S. the bike actually ran.
Is this a problem with a bad connection?
Any thoughts or experience with this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
