bike wont start

Default bike wont start
I have an 08 Electraglide standard and I went to start it the other day after work and I heard a slight pop and then all it would do is turn over but not start, any ideas??

Do you fire it up once in awhile without going for a ride? I made this mistake last winter, on my Yamaha Stratoliner (bought a Harley last May) My carburated V Star had no problem. I guess fuel injected bikes can't be fired up. Letting them run for a few minutes doesn't make them burn as hot as it would if you went for a ride. I started the Stratoliner once in awhile last winter until, one day, it turned & turned & turned but wouldn't start up. Found out that I mucked up the plugs & had to have somebody come get it. Then I was told to put the trickle charger on it & no matter how tempting it is, don't fire it up! If that's what you've been doing, better get somebody to look at the plugs. You probably didn't hurt anything. I didn't --- only the plugs.

Start with the simple stuff first. See if the bike is throwing a code, see if it's getting spark, and see if it's getting fuel, then report back.

I replaced the maxi fuse, cleaned the plugs, I get spark in the front cylinder but not the rear.

Hmmm...coil? Bad plug or plug wire? Are you SURE it's getting fuel?

If you are getting spark on one then i would change the coil first.....but i would recheck the fuses........

Is there fuel pump running? can you hear it when you first turn on the key?
