I have a orange 08 on order. Dealer called yesterday from the show. I should have it mid August.
Cant wait, love the changes (except the black motor). No ABS for me, but I did go for the security system.
I like it, but very pleased with my '04 and all the performance changes so far. Black engine is not a big deal for me, nor is the 6 gallon tank. I'm ready for a break and a stretch by the time I need fuel now.
I am wondering about those new bulbs behind the plastic cover.......those halogens throw a heck of a lot of heat, both front and inside the fairing.
Am actually glad they didn't offer a CVO FLTR this year, because it saves me a lot of tossing and turning with the decision! Now if they had stuck a Revolution engine in a CVO FLTR, I might just be writing a check and turning the '04 into a bar-hopping street machine.
The Black really shows dirt quick, and I seen some start to dull pretty bad after a few years, and some that look like new forever but itdoes hide that pesky little oil seepage where the trans bolts to the motor though It does make that chrome POP though! Really looks good, but not that big a deal for me I sorta like the silver motor very clean looning IMHO
Never thought I would say this but the RG is really starting to grow on me. I have actually been reading a bunch of threads on it. And that copper and black anniversary on the HD site looks real sharp. They are having demo rides at Gettysburg Bike Week this weekend. I might see if I can take one for a spin.
