Keep your eyes peeled in the forum classifieds, guys are always going from chrome to black. This set sold for 1/2 of new.
Wiring is plug & play, as long as the PO didn't butcher it. If visibility is a concern, some of the new LED inserts that double as white running lights are just as bright, if not brighter than halogen passing lamps.

If your front turns are also running lights, you could use switch back led bulbs. They are a bright white running light and switch to a bright amber to signal a turn, then they switch back to white. I bought JDM switchbacks from their eBay store for 20 bucks I think. JDM gets good reviews, so that’s what I bought. I am VERY visible.
