48’s are decently priced and probably the most popular Cam for a stock 96 incher.

The entire kit can be had for just over $600.

Cam only is $250.

I would go with the whole kit with 50,000 on your clock.

Adjustable Pushrods make the job easier, no need to pull rocket boxes. Lifters are top notch woods night prowlers and quieted Down my top end a little, plus at 50k you probably need new ones anyway. Also upgraded bearings are much better than OEM. Gasket kit is top notch as well.

I would see about a deal if you get the PV Tuner as well.

Sorry for spending your cash but it is a great setup.

Sorry didn’t answer your question...

Yes I think the 48’s and 222’s are better bagger Cams than 255’s.

I agree with 23. Andrews 48's are a great choice for what you want to do.

Not sure where PSI should be at idle.

What is your idle set at?

If you have the box the cable kit is easily ordered.

The tuner you have is the right one you need. I have the SE255 in mine with the 103 kit. maybe I missed it but didn't see if yours is stock 96 or not. The cam is really good. 6th gear is crap in these things stock. The cam will really help wake it up.

As suggested, make sure you get a good dyno tuner to do it for you. You can download the software and mess with it yourself but it is a guessing game without being able to truly run it.
