Um well, you know, well maybe you don't but............. My 1999 Road Glide has a black motor. You say no way, Yep way, came that way from the MoCo way back when.
Thanks, It's luxury rich red, or so they tell me. No one was 100% sure at the Dealer when I asked. Some said it was custom paint but it still has the silk screened HD tank emblem on it so.....Any who a search for matching paint on a 99 turns up the luxury rich red, so that's what I'm going with.
Nightglide yes to black motors up to and including 03, not sure after that. My Bud at work has the 03 Silver/Black 100th Anniversary and his motor is black.

My 06 RG has the same wheels as the 03 Road Kings, color is different, still the same wheel - RK black, RG gray/silver.
