I traced the stock windshield upper cut lines on a piece of cardboard cut out the shape. I taped it at the height I thot was good allowing plenty of cardboard on the inside of the harley one so wind would not rip it off and went for a ride. 3 tries later I got it perfect, between the eyes and nose. Measured the result sent in order and it came out great. I could not be happier. Im 6ft2
