Have the Mustang Wide Vintage Solo on my Fatboy with backrest.
It sits me a little closer to the tank and a little lower than the stock seat. I think the backrest makes all the difference in comfort. I can ride all day around town or on the highway. It's really a crap shoot as to what your butt will tell you.
There are so many nice seats out there it's hard to choose.
I just put on the HD CVO style seat, black with the stitching. It comes in 3 versions, Brown, and black with stitching and black smooth. Order mine on Surdyke for a pretty decent price. I wanted low and sleek, and this fills the bill for sure.
It took me some time to get used to it, but with 2K miles on it, I’m happy with it. It’s not perfect, but for a low pro solo, I will say its as good as it gets.

Best solo seat I've ever owned. I've tried various Mustang and C&C solo seats and they were all too hard and very uncomfortable.
The Harley Low Profile Touring Solo is very comfortable and looks great.
I can easily do 300 to 400 miles a day in comfort.
