On my 2019 GTS, looking at the info screen when navigating to a destination...(see diagram), 1 and 3 always read the same. From the handbook, they should never be the same.
Anyone noticed this if are yours displaying correctly?
I've noticed the same, but it only operates when the navigation is being used, and then the right side changes. I tried the navigation a couple of times, and found that it doesn't work very well. I use the map program on my phone connected through CarPlay and it works substantially better.
Ok. Go try a route again and make a stop, kill engine and ignition. Start up and ride more. One is for current leg and other is over all trip.
In other words, one is the distance to the next waypoint and the other is the final destination. If you dont have any scheduled waypoints it will read the same.

This is the correct answer. Left is to the next waypoint, right is to final destination. If there is only one waypoint/destination, they read the same.

I had not considered a route with way-points. I've only used it after searching for a destination, and hit go...thus no way-points...
Great idea, I'll give that a try.
Just stopping the engine and taking off again make no difference with just a destination and no way-points though. They both read the same.
