I have a 2002 RKC and in looking for a chrome inner primary and a chrome outer primary cover. Had one ordered online from New Castle Harley, showed in stock, but just got an email that they are out of stock... Ughhh. Searched for hours.
60665-99b chrome outer primary cover
60739-01 chrome inner primary (not a cover)
Tried a chrome inner primary cover years ago, Kuryakin but the ones for that year looked crappy. Putting a new engine in and the black paint on the motor ain't gonna match...really do not want tuse the cover
Being that it is for the older TC88, I would render a guess that not many, if any dealers have them in stock and will have to order it. You can go to your local dealer and have them do a search on h-dnet for the numbers and you might get lucky and find a dealer that got stuck with one and hasn’t been able to unload it.
You can get an inner primary already chromed and change it out, if you do that you may want the refresh the clutch,
the chain, the tensioner, and a new compensator. You can also change your primary gearing while your in there.
A Bike that old aftermarket parts are your best bet.

Doing all of that.. just would like some fresh chrome. My mechanic told me to stay away from chrome shops... he was right. Tried a set of forks and they look like crap after 3 yrs...
Tried the chrome shop way before after being told not to do that! I should have listened...
what did they do? Send you sub par junk? I was looking to get some 39mm fork sliders with a dual disk set up..Those ads kept popping up and getting my hopes up. It was really getting annoying..Seems like a lot exchange auctions out there.
