Revised Fuel Moto vs Dyno

I went this route last year. I did a couple auto tunes and sent him a data log and the new and original tunes. I went through the 3x's and I still had the bike pulling timing like a mad man. It got really bad in warm weather. I only had narrow band sensors so it is really tough to get good data. I ended up taking it to a local guy and it runs great. I think end result 4-5 Hp increase and about the same torque but it runs great.

Jaime is skilled at what he does. But no one can dyno tune a bike over the counter. Every bike is unique. He'll get you in the direction you need to go in. Find a good local tuner that can explain the process. I dont understand why people think a base map and a few auto tunes and your done.
Can some dyno tuners explain base map vs dyno session

No disrespect intended, but a well calibrated dyno connected to YOUR bike at the hands of a good technician during the optimum conditions (IE Baro Pressure, etc.), there is no beating that. Other means can be mighty good, but not quite there.

This one always baffles me...pay thousands for pipes, intakes, cams etc...then try to save money on the tune. The difference between a canned tune and a dyno tune in my bike was night and day. The extra power was just icing on the cake. The throttle lag was gone, started easier and ran cooler, that's enough to justify it for me. I tried the cheap tuner route and paid double in the end.
