My radio isn't working on my 2018 Street Glide Special. I'm suspect of the antenna not being connected. Any ideas on where to begin looking. I had the handle bars worked on when I bought and it hasn't been working since.
Thanks,

How about some real advice. The antenna is an easy fix if that's the case. Take the fairing off and look at the back of the radio, If I remember correctly its on the bottom right corner of the radio as your looking at it. What did you have done to bars? Were they adjusted, new bars installed?......Its hard to really diagnose with such little info. The diagram may or may not help you but this is the routing of it.

What is not working...the receiver itself or the hand controls? Will it auto tune to a station? Can you select a station with the controls? Have you done any basic troubleshooting such as what works and what doesn't and pulling the fairing to verify that everything is connected? That would be the first thing to do. If the antenna is connected and the coax is good and the controls are working, then it is a strong possibility that the radio is finished. BTW, you can check the antenna coax by using an ohmmeter to check continuity from the plug that goes into the back of the radio all the way to the antenna...
Thanks for the response guys. It's the FM/AM part of the radio, other than that all works perfect. I usually just use bluetooth for my music, so it hasn't been too big of a deal, but I do want it working as it should.
The dealer installed new bars just about buying it. With with 14" I think, maybe 12"
Just take off your outer fairing and plug it in. With the outer failing off, it the connector "white I believe" on the lower right portion of the radio "as your looking back into the fairing". It's only 7 bolts to get it off, all of which are a T27. Place a towel on your fender in case you drop something.
Yes, my thread is a couple months old now, but just wanted to give you guys an update. I just got around to removing the fairing and giving it a go, trying to figure out the problem. Sure enough, the AM/FM cable was not connected up into the head unit. I had to fish it out from way under the all the wires and looms. It was jammed up. under the head unit. I really don't remember ever having it work. I usually just bluetooth music. Anyhow, it's working now.
