I have a similar set I had laying around....threw them the front of my '15 street glide an they worked an run/turn lights but the blinker indicator flashed fast thinking there is a fault or open circuit. On my '15 I got a body control module CEL light. I tried them on an older softail I had an the cover wouldn't fit. Here's what I have
Yeah, that's what I was wondering if they would flash too fast or throw some other lighting issue into the fray.
The previous owner installed the setup I have, which is Kuryakin(SP?) with flashing pattern controller and such. So I'm betting they would not work very well.
I'm told that my lights are just not as bright as they should be so will likely have to break the bank for some Custom Dynamics ProBeam units.
They look like they will fit. When I switched to led turns I started with the rear. They flashed normally. When I added the fronts I got the fast flash. Added a load equalizer, and that made it flash at normal speed.
Recently replaced bulbs with LEDs. Started with the style you’re looking at getting and had trouble getting them to seat in the socket. They just weren’t quite long enough. So beware of that depending on what you get. As for fast flash, I had to switch the wires in the harness on one light to fix it. I was told that LEDs are just weird like that. And yes, that was with the load equalizer installed.
