Hello All, I'm new to the group and have just had my Ultra Classic about a month (1800 Miles so far). I followed the instruction on page 145 in the owners manual "ENABLE AUTO-ARMING". Now i want to "DISABLE AUTO-ARMING", the dealer i purchased bike from says he does not know how to disable it....and the one in Dothan AL says they have to put it on the computer to do this. Has anyone been able to disable auto-arming? Thanks
I have never reset the mode to non-auto arming. I love the fact that it arms itself.
But I have set the bike to "transport" mode. Basically, it allows the bike to be jostled without the alarm triggering. It is meant for trailering the bike.
Not sure what you are trying to accomplish by turning off the auto-alarm, but hopefully this helps.
John thanks for the quick come back.....I have used the transport mode to trailer the bike to the shop. I just wanted to know how to turn it off for good. No big deal. I love riding....it's been 15 years since i last rode...and to start back up with a 06 EGlide...MAN...Cool
