Just for grins I pulled the baffles out of my RTD's over lunch today. My '07 RKC sounds pretty hairy, kind of like a "muscle bike". What are the long-term effects other than the obvious increase in noise and potential for loud pipe tickets? I have the SE Stage 1 kit and the HD computer flash. BTW, I didn't notice any decrease in performance...
Just be careful when you introduce an "unknown variable" like this to your bike.
The flash you had done probably assumed the pipes were a standard aftermarket part.
If the mixture didn't lean out bad , then probably not a problem.
Pulling the baffles can change the exhaust frequencies at different throttle settings , and mess up your mixture curve.
If you really like the noise output , to be sure , you should get a dyno run and make sure you're still within specs.
Check your fuel mileage and see if it changed.
Just be attentive to the sounds and behavior of your bike , and be careful.
