Is there any way to adjust latch on a 13 ultra tourpack to get it to hold? My rear latch keeps slipping when I hit a bump or even touch the lid. The latch stays closed but the upper point where it grabs pops out from under latch

Has it always been like this or is this a recent issue? I own a 2013 ultra and one of my latches broke shortly after I had what sounds like a similar problem. I ended up going to premium hinges and latches which are so much better than stock crap that came on my limited.

Does the lid close squarely? Is the rubber seal around the interior of the lid in good shape? If the foam ( seal ) has lost its "cush" it could be contributing to your problem ... Been there and done that.
I had to change my tour pack latches last summer on my '13 Classic. The lid would pop open slightly and move back when I hit some rougher road. There is a little force on it when I have my back seat bag on as it doubles for a back rest for me too. They didn't show signs of damage but the pins did have some slop to them. I was able to nurse it along by shimming it up with small chunks of cardboard for a few days till I got to a dealer.
The HD dealer in Durango Co had them in stock, they weren't too expensive, I think I paid around $30 for the pair of them. I figure if I can buy items like this without ordering them it is a common issue.
