i get all my stuff at my dealer....his computer records are gonna be hard to beat.....cant say im not changing oil and filters that way...even if i lose a reciept he has it in the "system"
all he has to do is divide the milage by oil and filter puchases........he cant argue that....
For engine failures, reguardless of maintenance, if the dealer wishes to push it back, HE must prove that you did something "willful" (like road above redline for 100 miles in first gear) or "neglectful" failed to change oil (oil test requred, not an opinion.)
That said, I do all my own maintenance but then, I never had any warranty claim.
