I have a new to me 2011 ultra limited with the 103 and on a recent trip I noticed the bike tops out at 80 MPH. It seems like there is some throttle left but the bike seems regulated at 80 MPH. Is there a governor on these bikes or some other devise to limit the speed, or is something wrong ? the bike has 50 k miles.
There's gotta be something up with your particular bike. I have a 2012 and guarantee I've been above 80. The 103 in stock form will pull you into triple digits. Head to your preferred shop to start sorting out the bugs.
I just got a 2011 Ultra, it does have the stage one on it. I was out on the highway today and had to pass a bunch of trucks. Was running 85 - 90 for a bit no problem and felt like it had plenty left. Could be throttle sensor, this is a fly by wire I believe. Or the tune, how does it run otherwise?
