Just got off the phone with Jamie at FuelMoto. ordered up the Supertrap SE pipes, the PCIIIusb and the K&N breather kit. I've got a guy near me that wins all sorts of competitions doing the work and putting it on the dyno for me. Says he'll only tweak where needed and expects it won't be needed much at all.
All excited. It goes in the 25th. I'll report out with dyno slips when I get them. Great price from Jaime on the package deal. My tuner could have sold me the stuff but said he couldn't compete with that. He's at www.petetrickracing.com here in central Massachusetts on the NH. border.
I can't wait till my baby breaths a little better, runs a little cooler and sings sweet tunes.
I almost did the Tmax, but decided to go with the PC because this tuner is so familiar with them.
Thanks oldhippie About the pipes, I personally love the sound of my Supertrapp SE's. If loud is what you are looking for, these ARE NOT the pipes, but instead a nice mellow rumble that is very tolerable at highway speeds. As for the fuel management system, you should be AOK with the PCIII. Just post if you need some help. A fellow that frequents the forums named iclick has tweaked his PCIII for his '07 and is very helpful as well. PM him if you run into any problems and cant get a response here in the forums. Good luck and keep a watchful eye out for the big brown truck!
Thanks, I picked the SEs because I wasn't looking for "real loud" just something a bit more than the stockers.. A motorcycle's got to sound a bit more powerful than a sewing machine. The stockers really aren't too bad once you get up past 2500rpm, but I know the SEs will have a bit more depth to them.
