So I'm going to go with the Nostalgic themed footboards, brake pedal, shifter peg etc., on my '07 RK Classic. All other themed collections also have a highway footpeg available. Not the Nostalgic set. I compared the other ones available but none were really to my liking. So I looked at the o-ring peg 50913-89T and it at least did not take away from the footboards' look.
I was hoping to have a flat peg to help hold my foot steady. I do like the mteal lip on the end of the round pegs to keep your foot from slipping off.
Three questions;
What have ya'll used for footpegs with the Nostalgic theme?
Did you use the small or large sized pegs?
Does the round peg allow or makeyour foot to rock up and down?
Thanks
I use the chrome and rubber custom footpegs in the large size. They actually are almost a perfect match. HD part# 50130-95A, cost $49.95. On page 660 of the 2007 parts catalog
I looked at those and held them up to a bike with the Nostalgic stuff on it and it didn't look just right to me. I'm a danged perfectionist so I was hoping for a perfect match.
I wonder why the MOCO would make the other themed sets and not the Nostalgic? It doesn't make sense to me.
