How did you like the Ultimate seat? Just went on a 4 hour ride with the stock seat and the airhawk. Very comfortable. I may keep the stock for now and order something in the fall when I have more cash. That Tripper is a nice looking seat.

This is a tough question to answer, as all butts are different. I am of similar height and weight to you, but will note that I don’t have much natural padding.

I have tried many sets and many brands, and have 2 seats that work for me: The Mustang upper Tour with riders backrest for 2-up, and the HD Low Profile Solo for 1 up.

Here is what I know from my reasearch:

Corbin is either love it or hate it
Mustang and Saddleman seam to be more liked than disliked, but there is a good mix of opinions.
The HD Sundowner has a lot of fans, and I don’t really see much complaints (I however have no experience with one)

The Hammock, Road Zeppelin, and the Police Set from HD are all universally loved, but it comes at a cost of raising you up. For me, even with a 32” inseam, I felt like they were too tall, but were all GREAT Comfortable seats.

My best advise for you is to find a dealer that has demo seats, and try them out before you buy. Some manufactures have a comfort guaranty, and if you buy one, and hate it, they will refund with no hassle.

One other note: - As you make changes to the bike, ie bars, shields, back rests, and even foot ware will change your riding poison, and can mak the seat more or less comfortable.

There are sooooooo MANY options out there and a it can become an expensive venture to find that magic seat. - Good luck, hope you find the one for you on the first try.

Hammock has been great, very comfortable but frankly its bulky and not appealing to look at. But it makes the wife happy so that means I get to be happy LOL.

the ultimate was a great seat. no complaints at all. I needed something to sit a little bit lower and the Mustang fit the bill. First time out it was a little hard and now I have about 500 miles on it and its as comfortable as the ultimate at half the size. it doesn't have a steep back of the seat but with the backrest is not needed
