I have Sirius/Xm. I was hoping that it would display colored lines on the navigation maps to display the traffic. Does it not do this (Like every other nav in the universe)?
Mine does, once you set your destination it shows a green line. Also there is a setting something like reroute for traffic. It will automatically reroute you to avoid traffic. Also when you are riding you can go the XM Traffic and it will show traffic on your route. If you do not have a destination it will show traffic conjestion near you.
Ok. So when just cruising around (no set destination) it won’t show green, yellow, or red for local traffic congestion unless I go to Xm traffic and do an overlay? Do I have that right? Thanks.

Yes, it still will show the traffic when not on a specified route in areas where XM traffic normally is covered. It will not give you warnings and alternate route options unless you have a route programmed.
flash1043, if you are on the navaigatiom screen go to the 3 bars at the top right. Then scroll to the second screen and you should see XM traffic. If it looks dim it is not activated. It took me 3-4 calls to Sirius for them to finally get it activated. They would tell me it’s not available on my bike. I would disagree and the they would say oh it’s activated and it wasn’t. Finally got it activated and then it took a little time to figure out how to use it.
Good luck..
