I just installed the Ultracool 3.0 on my 120ST. The old oil cooler nipple was a bit stubborn, but popped loose once I put a cheater bar over the 7/16 Allen wrench. I never thought of using a 7/16 bolt head with jam-nuts...great idea!!!
I believe he's talking about this part; Jagg nipple
Been a while since I've worked with one of these but I believe the one UltraCool offers has more threads and are of the same type; UltraCool nipple kit
That's the part I'm talking about. I did get this kit used and didn't get the nipple with it, didn't realize until I tried to install it that I needed it.
@FPV do you know if the Jagg kit is just a rebranded Ultracool kit? The oil filter adapter assembly looks very similar.
Jagg and UltraCool are two separate entities which are in competition of each other so I doubt Jagg is a rebranded UltraCool kit. With that in mind, I doubt they manufacture parts in-house and more than likely have China do it. If that is the case then some parts of both companies products may very well come from the same foreign factory but that's just a guess.
I do agree that both of their filter adapter assemblies do appear to be very similar. Just that UltraCool has an extra threaded hole for their temp switch as all their units have fans and some of Jagg's don't.
