09 and 16 rear brake levers same?

yup, it's fixed. Have to buy their longer pedal.

I’m going to try changing them when I get time. I think they just changed the angle of the arm. You can see the bend in the 09 arm. The 14 up arms just angle out from the base. They end up placing the brake pad in the same location I believe.

I wouldn’t bother. Harley list brake pedals for 14 and later. It wont fit. And the job is a bit of a PITA! I’ve done it a few times and cringe each time.

The shaft on the 14 up bikes is larger. Other than that they are the same. Hope this helps someone else.



14 up lever on the right. Hard to see but slightly larger bore.

You're likely doing it the hard way. Shouldn't take you more than 20-30 minutes, tops. That's drinking a beer in the middle, too.

That sounds about right. It took me an hour to pull both and replace. Now that I have done it, it would take probably 20 min.

It doesn’t take me more than a half hour. It is just not a pleasant job for me in such a cramped space with large hands and mostly siting or laying on the floor. Just a PITA for me.
