I added them to use as luggage carriers on my '09 RKC with Rushmore hard saddlebags. For that they worked very well. No marks on the saddlebag lids. When not needed I can remove them and plug the holes using glossy black automotive trim strip retainers. The small flat ones. Once in place they are almost invisible.
Bumping this. Anyone have the black ones on a black bike? Would they look weird without the lights? I may add them anyway. Just wondering if anyone regrets putting them on.
