Heat difference
I have a '15 Ultra Limited with a stock head pipe and V&H 4-1/2" Slip-ons and have been riding in mid 80's temps. Recently while on vacation I rented an '18 Ultra Classic with a stock head pipe and 4" Rinehart sip-ons. I couldn't believe how much hotter the Ultra Classic ran than my Limited does. I know the Limited is twin cooled and the UC is air cooled but I didn't expect there to be that much difference in heat output. My old '07 UC ran a lot cooler than this '18 UC did. Stopping at a traffic light I had to set my feet as far away from the motor as possible to not get burnt. Has anyone else noticed the heat difference?
