Finally discovered the tour pack qucik disconnect not available for the 1996 Ultra Classic until 1997 (and newer).
Not true. I had a quick detach tour pack on a 1995 Roadking, which would be the same mount as the Ultra Classic. They are a little different than the later models, but they were made by the MoCo. Don't know if they still are or not.

Hola Amigo's;
Can anyone tell me if a tour trunk quick-disconnect kit is available for 1996 Ultra Classic?
Could not figure out thru catalog, and contacted local dealer who advised nothing in his book for earlier than 1997?
Curious if anyone has 96 Bagger and put kit on (quick disconnnect for trunk).
Installed one on my '96 RK back in '97, and that application should be the same. Kit for '97 may not fit the '96 since they changed the frame in '97. If not in HD accessories book it may be tough to find, requiring some checking on Ebay and elsewhere.
